These Boots are Made for Walkin'
On the liner notes for the original recording of Nancy Sinatra's breakout LP in the swingin' 60s of the above title it begins with Nancy asking her producer (and writer of the actual music) Lee Hazlewood, how she should sing the song. He replies, "Like a 16 year old girl who's been dating a 40 year old man but it's all over now." This should give you some idea of the era and the mores. Nancy wrote this song's lyrics and it's right on target given that it was the beginning of 1966 when it was released but I always think of this song as the beginning of liberation of women in a much broader sense of the word.
